Winner Solar Announces $5000 Grant to Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park Lock Haven, PA November, 26, 2024 – Winner Solar has announced a grant of $5000 to the Greater Renovo Heritage Park. This is the first grant awarded by the Winner Solar Community Grant program. This grant is part of the Apex Clean Energy Community Grant program which has provided over $4 million in funding to community organizations across the country. The grant will be used for the creation of a mural celebrating the lumber heritage of the region. The mural will be part of the organization’s walking tour. The lumber heritage mural will be created by local artist Steve Getz and his partner Carol Cillo. Getz is best known in the art community for his work with Stan Lee and Marvel Comics. The mural will be prominently located to be visible not only on the walking tour but also to all those driving along Huron Ave in Renovo.
